Privacy Policy
Opulen Capital is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of clients’ personal and medical information provided to us in connection with our representation of them in a transaction or a potential transaction. We only collect personal and medical information if the client elects to have us represent them and has authorized us to collect such information by way of their completion of our Life Settlement Application, Authorization for Release of Medical Information, and Authorization for Release of Life Insurance Policy Information. We do not use the information for any other reasons and do not sell or rent our clients’ personal information to third parties.
All information relating to our representation of a client is available only to those employees directly involved on the client’s particular case or to those outside firms contracted by us to process information that relates to the client’s case. Information is available on a need-to-know basis.

A client’s personal and medical information may be shared in any of these limited circumstances:
— We have the client’s consent.
— We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing the client’s information on our behalf. When done, this information is subject to agreements that oblige those parties to process such information only on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
— We conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our company or the public.
— A change of ownership such as in an acquisition by or merger with another company. In such an event, we will provide the client notice before personal or medical information transfers and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Changes to this Policy
Please note this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. We will notify the client if any changes are significant.
